About Me / Resume Jesse Hart - Ultimahart - Graphic/Web/Logo Designer
Hello and thank you for taking a minute to learn a little bit about me, Jesse Hart. I was born on August 22nd in Portland, Oregon but grew up in Williams, Oregon for my entire life until I moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon from 2004-2008. I switched my major a couple times, from Philosophy to Computer Science, finally to Multimedia Design (later renamed Digital Art).
During University I studied abroad in China for a summer term (my first time out of the United States). The time I spent in China got me hooked on traveling and since then I have been all around Japan, a 9,600 mile road trip around Mexico, and soon a 5 week trip to South Africa for the World Cup 2010. I really enjoy soccer although I am not playing because of multiple knee injuries.
I also snowboard, skydive, ride motorcycles, love stand up comedy and of course all forms of graphic design. After college I moved to Portland with my girlfriend Ashley, for a year, for the freelance opportunities in the biggest city in Oregon. After a year we had had enough of the big city (we love Portland but are more suited to live in a smaller town more similar to where we grew up).
After moving back to Eugene I got the great opportunity to work with Prise Design Group, a well respected Eugene business who specialize in website design, development (coding of web pages). Custom business logos are also a specialty of PDG. I spent 6 months working with the owner who was training me to become partners with him. I went my separate way for new opportunities and now I'm back to freelance and possibly turning Ultimahart into my own business. There's my life in a nutshell. Now I am looking to both increase my knowledge in graphic and web design plus the world in general. Now I will live my life by a couple mottos, enjoying life to the best of my ability, fail till I succeed, and of course, the Golden Rule. Thanks a lot and I hope to meet you.
